Devin McCourty and Jason McCourty each had long and accomplished NFL careers, and this piece of memorabilia commemorates the years they played together for the New England Patriots (2018-2020). In 2018, they became the first twins to ever win a Super Bowl as teammates.
A safety, Devin McCourty spent his entire 13-year career with the Pats. He earned two Pro Bowl nominations and was a member of three Super Bowl winning teams. He holds the Pats’ record for the most post-season starts for a defensive player. His success on the field was only exceeded by his social impact off the field: Devin was nominated for the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award four times for his widespread philanthropic efforts. Devin has been an active and engaged leader in a variety of social justice causes. Since leaving the NFL in 2022, he has served as a commentator for NBC’s Football Night in America.
Jason McCourty played with the Tennessee Titans (2009-2016), Cleveland Browns (2017), New England Patriots (2018-2020) and the Miami Dolphins (2021) primarily as a cornerback, but also as a free safety while playing for the Miami Dolphins. Jason has been nominated for many community awards, including the Walter Payton Man of the Year, The Muhammad Ali Sports Humanitarian and the Art Rooney Sportsmanship Award. In 2025, the 13-year defensive veteran renewed his contract with ESPN to regularly appear on Tuesdays and Thursdays across Get Up, First Take, NFL Live, and SportsCenter during the season. Jason has also been an NFL game analyst for CBS since 2023.
Jason and Devin were inducted into the Rutgers University Hall of Distinguished Alumni, the highest honor any alumnus can receive.
